De wereld is in zes jaar tijd best veranderd, maar de gemeente Zaanstad nog niet heel veel.

Er zijn nog steeds heel veel inwoners die tegen problemen oplopen in deze gemeente.

Ik vind het een eer om weer als raadslid voor de inwoners van Zaanstad aan de slag te kunnen.

Met veel energie en wat Zaanse humor zal ik jullie meenemen in de politieke wereld.

Ik zal goed naar jullie luisteren en vooral daar ook echt wat mee doen. Echte invloed voor inwoners is belangrijk.

Op 16 december j.l. was Democratisch Zaanstad getuige van de Pro Palestina demonstratie op de Gedempte gracht in Zaandam. Wij hebben daar de demonstranten de zin : “From de river to the sea….” horen scanderen, welke in de zin een expliciete oproep te zijn tot geweld. De Tweede Kamer heeft op 24 oktober jl. deze oproep ook als zodanig gekwalificeerd. Naar aanleiding van deze demonstratie , hebben wij de volgende vragen aan het college en de ambtelijke organisatie gesteld:

Laat als eerste een reactie achter.

Vandaag werd een bijzondere Zaanse medeburger geëerd.

Rudy Seca ontving, tijdens een mooie en ook emotionele bijeenkomst, de gemeentelijke erepenning uit handen van loco burgemeester Natasja Groothuismink.

Dat juist onze Natasja deze feestelijke taak op zich mocht nemen stemt ons zeer verheugd. Want bij ROSA heeft zo’n beetje iedereen wel een warm plekje in het hart voor Rudi.

Een bijzondere man, die vele mensen hielp en bij elkaar bracht in Zaanstad en daarbuiten, maar daarbuiten Rudi is ook gewoon een oprecht fijn, betrokken en warm mens!

Wij feliciteren Rudi Seca dan ook van harte met deze terechte onderscheiding.
