Op de raadsvergadering van 24 september is Maurice Meijer benoemd tot steunfractielid bij de fractie van VVD Beverwijk. Maurice Meijer (42) is geboren en getogen Wijker;
Geboren in Beverwijk, opgegroeid in Wijk aan Zee en nu woonachtig in
Broekpolder.
Als Beverwijkse ondernemer is hij betrokken bij het
vergroten van veiligheidniveaus op diverse werkvloeren door het gehele land,
door het geven van opleidingen, ontwikkelen van beleid en geven van adviezen op
gebied van bedrijfsveiligheid en bedrijfscontinuïteit. Hiernaast is hij bijna
25 jaar lid van het Beverwijkse brandweerkorps als vrijwillig bevelvoerder en
adviseur crisiscommunicatie / persvoorlichter.
Getrouwd met Joke, ook ondernemer in onze mooie stad
en trotse vader van twee kinderen, Marit en Milan, momenteel beide op de HAVO
te Beverwijk.
