Onze Koen Jansen heftig in discussie met de andere fracties. 5% van de woningen per straat mag een studentenwoning, dat is een mooie balans vinden de andere partijen! Koen geeft aan dat het woord 'balans' ver te zoeken is in een stad waar 27% van de inwoners student is. Bovendien is het vreemd dat de andere partijen alleen over studentenwoningen spreken, omdat het voorliggende voorstel over 5% kamergewijze verhuur gaat, en daar vallen ook jongeren, PhDers, ook starters en ook anderen onder. Andere steden hebben 15% kamergewijze verhuur. Waarom zijn D66 en Groenlinks en de andere voor deze 5%??? As a municipality, we must draw up an environmental plan. A long-term plan for the entire physical environment. We would like to involve residents in this process. A proposal is to do that via co-creation. But what exactly is co-creation? Is this the right strategy? And in which phases is it most important to involve residents? The past years it was known as the ugliest place of Wageningen, but there may soon be changes. Idealis has plans to realise student housing on this vacant piece of land. Yesterday, Mark Reijerman represented Connect Wageningen during the political evening on this subject. In two weeks, the city council will vote on the plans. #housing #wageningen #politics #students

A solar farm at the Haarweg! The city council will decide on the 10th of December whether the plans are accepted and get a green light. An interesting political issue regarding the climate goals, the nature surrounding Wageningen and the impact on the environment of the neighbors.
