---- Fossil Free Maastricht, in collaboration with GroenLinks, is excited to host ClimateKeys@Maastricht: an evening of dialogues using speech and music, centered around climate change. The ClimateKeys format is the brainchild of composer-pianist Lola Perrin, who views the music concert as a powerful avenue to discuss climate change in new and creative ways. The Fossil Free movement is a global initiative, with civil society groups demanding that institutions follow a green financial strategy, divesting from fossil fuels and unethical investments. Are you interested in the Fossil Free movement and want to find out more about the Maastricht Fossil Free campaign? Come along to the event for some great discussions on our campaign and how you can get involved! The evening will feature a speech by guest speaker Dr Marjan Peeters. Dr. Peeters holds the position of Professor of Environmental Policy and Law in Maastricht University. Dr. Peeters is also a member of METRO (Institute for Transnational Legal Research) and of the Maastricht Centre of European Law. Dr. Peeters dedicates her work applying law as a tool to achieve effective environmental protection and strengthening goals of sustainable development. Dr. Peeters will present on the topic of “With law towards a better climate?”. We are honoured to have such a passionate and inspiring speaker for this event. We are glad to host the bands Kalika and Freya. Playing a diverse variety of genres, their participation in this format is an affirmation of their deep interest in environmental issues.
