Na 4 jaar nemen wij met trots afscheid van onze gedeputeerde Eric Geurts. Wij willen hem bedanken voor zijn harde werk in beleidsterreinen zoals Toerisme & recreatie, provinciale wegen en duurzaamheid. Wij wensen hem alvast veel succes met zijn burgemeesterspost in Beekdaelen!

We welcome a new generation of students from the University and the Hogeschool. We wish you all a very nice time during the INKOM week. Be sure to mix and mingle as much as possible, for the city is small in size, but has many hidden secrets one must discover! 🌳🌻We hebben gisteren een topdag gehad bij de klimaatmars in Bonn. Samen met vele duizenden anderen van over de hele wereld maakten we één ding duidelijk: tot hier en niet verder! ✊🏽 Overheden doen ondanks internationale afspraken te weinig en handelen te traag om klimaatverandering tegen te gaan. Dat is onacceptabel, want de bescherming van de aarde is iets wat ons allemaal aangaat. 🌍🌏🌎 Gelukkig stapte men gisteren in de aanloop naar de klimaattop van de Verenigde Naties massaal op de fiets en trein om van zich te laten horen! 🚵‍♀️🚂 👉🏾 Vind je duurzaamheid een belangrijk thema, wat ook op lokaal niveau in Maastricht tot zijn recht moet komen? Alongside thousands of others from all over the world, we spread a clear message: here and no further! ✊🏽 Governments are doing nowhere near enough to protect the climate against climate change.
