I still encourage you to make WordPress.com a place for amateurs and hobbyists who need a place that will support them to express themselves and make it easy to share their content.

I appreciate it that WordPress has maintained a nice level of dignity in its presentation over the decades. As a classical poet I appreciate not having to deal with all the bells and whistles which detract from the message on some of the other public platforms. I’ve racked up a million views over all the WP sites I’ve guested or guest edited on, and I’m still a grateful fan! Keep up the good work 👏👏👏

I’d just like to know how I can get Jetpack to go onto my WordPress account on my ipad. It went on to my phone but I can’t get it to stick to my iPAD. Can someone explain in simple language because I am an old man with limited tech savvy.

I am transferring what I can, but you guys don’t handle ‘premium domains’ nor domains registered <60 days ago unfortunately…

Hi there, per industry-wide domain regulations it must be at least 60 days since the domain was registered or last transferred before you can transfer it an any domains provider. So this is not a block on transfers that is specific to WordPress.com, and sadly it is not something we can get around even in special instances such as this. Thank you for your understanding!

Dit bedrag was bedoeld om met het rendement op dit vermogen voor minimaal een periode van 30 jaar de kosten voor de drie veren te dekken en in de vaart te houden.

Nieuw Goes blijft zeer alert op de ontwikkelingen. Ook omdat hulpdiensten via mobiele telefonie snel op de hoogte moeten kunnen worden gesteld is het een urgent probleem.

Zeer recent heeft een bewoonster aan het Uiverplein zich gewend tot de fractie van Gemeentebelangen Gouda, mede namens buurtbewoners, om de overlast van campers aan te kaarten. Pogingen van haar om dit bij handhaving en politie aan te kaarten leverden weinig tot niets op.

Aan de hand van beeldmateriaal, communicatie op verschillende websites en constatering van de overlast op genoemde locaties, heeft de fractie van Gemeentebelangen Gouda de navolgende vragen aan het college van B&W gesteld:

1. Is uw college bekend met deze vorm van overlast door campers van, veelal, toeristen die Gouda bezoeken? Zo ja, wat voor actie heeft u ondernomen om deze overlast te verhelpen?

2. Komt deze vorm van overlast ook voor op andere plaatsen in onze stad waar gelegenheid wordt geboden om met een camper te mogen staan?

3. Heeft politie en/of handhaving signalen ontvangen over deze vorm van overlast? Zo ja, is hier actief op gecontroleerd om deze vorm van overlast te verhelpen?

4. Wat is het beleid van uw college om erop toe te zien dat, veelal, toeristen hun camper niet buiten de aangewezen parkeer- en verblijfplaats, zoals deze aangeduid is op de gemeentelijke website, neerzetten?

5. Op de gemeentelijke website is Klein Amerika aangeduid als parkeer- en verblijfplaats voor campers. Zijn er recentelijk nieuwe locaties voor campers aangewezen als parkeer- en verblijfplaats? Zo ja, om welke locaties gaat het én wat is de reden dat deze (nog) niet zijn opgenomen op o.a. de gemeentelijke website?

6. Op verschillende websites, veelal buitenlandse, worden locaties in Gouda benoemd en beoordeeld als parkeer- en verblijfplaats voor campers die niet zijn vermeld op de gemeentelijke website. Is uw college hiermee bekend?

7. Is er voor uw college aanleiding om de gemeentelijke website hiermee in overeenstemming te brengen?

8. Met de zomerperiode voor de deur is het aannemelijk dat deze vorm van overlast verder zal toenemen en het woon- en leefklimaat van bewoners aan meergenoemde straten maar ook in de directe omgeving van andere toegestane locaties, zal worden aangetast. Wat gaat uw college hieraan doen?

De fractie van Gemeentebelangen Gouda wacht de beantwoording af en op basis van de ontvangen reactie vanuit het college van B&W zullen er zeker vervolgstappen genomen worden om deze vorm van overlast te verhelpen en het woon- en leefklimaat van de bewoners aan het Uiverplein en de Leeuwerikstraat, maar ook in andere straten waar deze overlast zich voordoet, te verbeteren.
